Elizabeth Bennett: Accountant, Principal
As a precocious five year old, Elizabeth set her career sights on two options: doctor or firefighter. Naturally, she became an accountant (well, there are fires and they do need putting out). After receiving degrees in German and Accounting from the University of South Carolina, finding motherhood, and exploring some career options, Elizabeth decided to take the entrepreneurial plunge and start her own accounting firm.
Today, Elizabeth and Swift Accounting have grown to be a valuable accounting partner for small businesses and nonprofits across the plateau.
Brooke Duncan: Accountant, Payroll Specialist
While Brooke has always had a love for numbers, it took her some time to find her love for accounting. She started her professional life in the medical field as a radiology technician. It wasn’t until she and her husband started a family that Brooke realized that she wanted a career with more flexibility. So, in 2018 she went back to school for her AS in Accounting and joined Swift Accounting in February of 2021.
Outside of the numbers, Brooke, her husband, their two kids, and the family dogs love nothing more than spending time together, camping, playing outside, and having movie nights.
